Mission Statement

The mission of the Johnson County Health Department is to protect, preserve and promote the health, environment and well-being of the people in Johnson County. In order to accomplish this, it is necessary that we control communicable disease, encourage healthy lifestyles, provide preventive screenings and reduce hazards in the environment. These are the goals to which we strive.

Vision

Healthy people in a healthy community.  The Johnson County Health Department will be a leader in preventative health care, health education, and environmental protection and monitoring.
