Kentucky HANDS Program
The HANDS program is a voluntary, intensive weekly home visitation for moms and dads, regardless of income. The goals of HANDS is to promote positive pregnancy outcomes, optimal child growth and development, encourage parents to provide safe, healthy homes and strengthen a family’s sense of self-sufficiency.
The program can begin from prenatally or until the child is three months old. The program can continue until the child reaches two years of age.
